As General Manager, you’ll be the driving force behind our company’s operations, strategy, and performance. You’ll lead cross-functional teams, optimize processes, and ensure we deliver outstanding results to our clients while achieving financial targets and expanding our footprint. This role is ideal for a strategic thinker who excels in leadership and thrives on building high-performing teams in the home improvement industry.

Key Responsibilities

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field (MBA or equivalent preferred).

  • 8+ years of senior management experience, preferably in the home improvement, retail, manufacturing, or construction sectors.

  • Proven track record ain operational leadership, financial management, and team building.

  • Strong knowledge of kitchen design and installation processes is advantageous.

  • Excellent strategic planning, communication, and problem-solving skills.

  • Proficiency in business software (e.g., ERP systems, Microsoft Office Suite).

  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel as needed.

  • South African citizenship or valid work permit required

Qualifications

  • Oversee daily operations, including sales, design, installation, and customer service teams to ensure efficiency and alignment with company goals. Develop and implement strategic plans for business growth, market expansion, and operational improvements.

  • Lead the expansion across the Southern Africa region, identifying new markets, establishing partnerships, and scaling operations in countries such as Namibia, Botswana, and beyond.

  • Manage financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control to maximize profitability.

  • Lead recruitment, training, and development of staff, fostering a positive and productive work culture.

  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, suppliers, partners, and clients to drive partnerships and revenue.

  • Analyze industry trends, competitor activities, and performance metrics to inform decision-making and innovation.

  • Ensure compliance with regulations, quality standards, and safety protocols across all operations.

  • Prepare executive reports and presentations for board members or senior stakeholders.
